This top 80s ad is for a top 80s car, the Ford Taurus. Which comes complete with an ad that is as jingly as the Buick one, but it's less about America and more about how we demand excellence.

The original Taurus is a great car that really changed automotive design in North America. I've always liked the look of the original Taurus and am glad Ford had the boldness to put it out.
